The Teltonika RUT104 HSPA Router is ideal for remote monitoring and management applications such as CCTV and Digital Signage. The RUT104 uses an Option GTM380 HSPA module which provides up to 7.2Mbps download speeds and up to 2Mbps upload speed. The Teltonika RUT-104 has a single 10/100 Ethernet connection and 802.11 b/g WiFi connectivity. The RUT104 has a ping reboot feature which can be configured to Ping and IP address at regular intervals and if it does not receive a response it will reboot the router to re-establish the connection. This feature has been included becuase it is quite common for 3G networks to drop connections to 3G devices which is inconvenient when the device is being used for remote monitoring and management which is why 3G router manufacturers have to include this type of feature to provide a reliable 3G access solutuon. The Teltonika is easily configurable via a web browser interface and includes all the standard features you would expect from a 3G router designed for remote access and connectivity including VPN, Port Forwarding and Firewall.
